Expected Halter Show Level: Level IV ~ Expected Fleece Show Level: Level II

  • All alpacas entered must be registered with the Alpaca Registry, Inc. NO PENDING PAPERS ACCEPTED
  • Alpacas must be registered in the name of the owner as listed on the ARI Registration Certificate or the exhibitor must provide an Owner of Record for Show Entry Form (formerly Buyer’s Permission to Show Form) signed by the owner that is listed on the certificate
  • Send completed entry forms with a copy of ARI Registration Certificate, Mandatory Exhibitor’s Form and an Owner of Record for Show Entry Form, if applicable.
Get of Sire and Produce of Dam: Because exhibitors may not know who the other exhibitors are until arrival, entry deadline for these classes will be during the show – specific times will be announced at the show.

Stalling:
  • Stalls will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis – 10 stall limit for individual farms
  • Preferred stalling will be provided to sponsors, based on sponsorship level and entry date
  • Requesting group stalling with other farms may result in the adjustment of sponsorship placement
  • All stalls are 8’x8’ and will include a bale of straw bedding per stall
  • There will be no more than three juvenile alpacas or 2 yearlings/adults per stall.

Check-In: Friday, October 30, 2009 from 10:00AM to 5:00PM
Exhibitors Meeting: Mandatory meeting will be held before the show – time to be announced
Check-Out: Sunday, November 1, 2009 by 4:00PM – Time for fleece pick up will be announced

Entry fees:
  • $210 per stall on or before September 15, 2009 ~ $240 after September 1, 2009
  • $40 per alpaca postmarked by September 15, 2009 ~ $65 per alpaca postmarked after September 1, 2009
  • $6 AOBA Show Division fee for every alpaca entered in show
  • $75 AOBA Show Division Non-Member Fee
  • $15 per alpaca for substitutions after September 15, 2009

Refunds: No refunds will be available after September 15, 2009. Refunds before September 1, 2009 will be determined by the ability to resell the stalls

  • ALL ALPACAS ENTERING THE VENUE ARE REQUIRED TO BE MICROCHIPPED – the Microchip # must appear on the Certificate of Veterinary Inspection.
  • All exhibitors must meet the appropriate state regulations for movement of livestock. Even if state regulations do not require a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection, exhibitors shall have a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (Health Papers) completed not more than 30 days prior to the last day of the show for each alpaca transported to the show.

This is an AOBA certified show, therefore all rules or amended rules, if any,
